Updated Square payment option for SCA (Strong Customer Authentication). (More info)

Added PayPal Checkout / Smart Buttons payment option (separate from the Standard Business option). (Manual)

View the change log here.

How to update:
The first time each day you log into the admin it will check for the update. If you have already logged into your admin today, then you won't get the notice until tomorrow.

If you are currently using Sytist version 1.0.0 or higher, you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.

UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';

Then return to your admin home page.

If the auto update feature won't work for you for some reason, you will have to manually update.

When using the auto-update from the admin and it seems to hang when trying to unzip, then the ZIP functions are probably not enabled in the PHP on your hosting. If it used to work then your host probably changed something to cause the ZIP functions in PHP to go away. You can contact your hosting company and ask them to enable the ZIP functions in PHP.

Tim,

I just did an update. My home page and website is acting like it is in mobile device mode. All the title links are in standard text and moved to the left side of the page. www.avalonphoto.net. The theme looks okay in the admin but it is not projecting the correct layout in the web page. I can login to the pages but the clicking on the images is not working. Can I retry the automatic update process...maybe something went wrong? Though I have never had a problem in the past with the automatic update.

I check with godaddy to make sure the server is working correctly. I uploaded a test index page and I even changed the main theme page. When I try to change the theme page and save changes it is not making the changes on the host site. I think something happened during the upgrade. Help needed as I am dead in the water

The problem isn't from the upgrade. When saving your theme the CSS file content is "301 Moved Permanently" so there is no styling. You have changed something since the last time you saved your theme like forcing httpS.

In your Sytist admin click Settings in the main menu then underneath the left menu click edit config file.

About the 3rd line add a s to http for the url

$setup['url'] = "https://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."";

and save.

Then go to Design -> Edit My Theme and save your theme.

Be sure you are accessing the admin with httpS in the URl.

Hi Tim,
A couple of things I've noticed since the last update:
- no option to edit/delete items added to a package (before it's added to the cart). Previously you could delete an item and add another eg if I accidently add a duplicate could delete and change. This option is gone.
- parents can once again add a package from the favourites page ( means they don't get all the digital files) I will have to hunt around to find where to disable this again
- when uploading some photos are not uploading correctly. It does NOT give me any errors but the photos are half uploaded. - file name shows but metadata and image is not there. Most importantly, the gallery code (title in the metadata) is missing so the fil names show up in everyone's galleries. There is not easy way to weed these out. Last 4 uploads had 15-30 images like this. I can email you photos if you like to show you what it looks like

1) I can confirm caused by adding image options to packages and moving the add to package button done. Will be fixed soon .

2) There is an option in the product groups in the price lists " If this product group includes Buy Alls, do not offer when customer ordering from favorites.". Perhaps you don't have that checked.

3) Nothing was changed with uploading and the issue is most likely the photos themselves. You can send me whatever you want me to look at.
