Question Passcode Photos

Hello,
I have a question about passcode photos. We are a company of photos for schools and kindergardens. We can have between 3 and 4 kindergardens per day with 30-50 children. And schools with 600 kids. Do we create one folder for each kindergarden or with many subfolders. Do you have an example of how it works. Can you also sent us an example of how they would login. Thank you. Have a good day.

Using the Passcode Photos feature, you would create a gallery for each kindergarten then upload all the student photos into those galleries. You don't have to create sub galleries when using the Passcode Photos feature.

I have put together an example in the demo here:
http://www.sytist.net/clients/passcode-photo-example/

You basically don't see any photos until you enter in your password.

Here is a link to that page in the admin:

Thank you for replying. So can we create a csv file instead of putting the code in the filename? Can you please send me an example of a .csv file used for passcoding a photo? Do you have a video tutorial on uploading images with passcodes? If yes, can you sent that too?

Yes you can upload a CSV file with the passwords
https://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/articles/password-protecting-individual-photos-in-a-gallery/

3) Upload a CSV file (spreadsheet in a CSV format) with file name in the first column and passcode is the second column.

The option to upload the CSV file is in the Photos tab when viewing the gallery in the admin and the gallery is marked for Passcode Photos. When using this option the passcode is added to the title of the photo in the database.

I don't have a sample file, but it's just first column with the file name, second with the password. No video tutorial available, but you just upload the photos then upload the CSV file.

I just want to see if I understand correctly. We upload the images: lets say DSC_0001, DSC_0002. Then we upload the csv file. So let's say the first column is DSC_001;abc123, then the next line is DCS_002;abc123? That's it?

Second question, can the csv file use semicolons to seperate the filename from the password? Sorry for bothering you. It's my first time using sytist and I'm a bit confused.

You need to add the file extension too.

First column DSC_0001.jpg

Second column the password abc123

So:
DSC_0001.jpg,abc123

They need to be separated by a comma, a semicolon won't work.

I tried importing the csv file. As soon as I enter the passcode on the customer's page it says Can't find gallery. How can I fix it?
Thank you for the help.

ALSO NOTE:

You will NOT see the import passcodes until you upload a photo.
