I'm a little puzzled. I uploaded three batches of photos last night and this morning via FTP on Lightroom. Each batch had its own folder name. Later this morning I went into "Upload Photos" and processed one batch of about 277 pictures. I watched as it processed the picture and when completed it took me to the "ALL Photos". However the new pictures I just uploaded where not there. I can't find them any where. If I look on the side bar for recent uploads it doesn't show the pictures I uploaded. All the pictures were tagged when I uploaded them. If I search for the tags they are not there. If I try to sort all pictures in descending order by upload I don't get the pictures I just uploaded.

I then processed batch #2 and the same thing. This time I noticed photo counts did increase especially the note about "xxx Photos Not Shown On Website". That number is now 509 yet when I click on the link it should only 23 pictures.

I still have one batch that needs to be processed. If I go to my cpanel I found the folder that has the batch yet to be processed. The other two folders are gone which is what I would expect.

I have not had this problem before. Any thoughts?

Double check your file size.
Everyone's server has different limits. 3-5mb seems ok, have you had success at those sizes in the past?

I'm not on amazon I've had success up to 9,9... MB but sometimes a little smaller fails.

a couple other suggestions. For big upload like 277 photos i use an FTP app to upload to the sy-upload folder and batch process that way. http://www.picturespro.com/sytist-manual/articles/uploading-photos-with-ftp/

Also I create the gallery or page as a draft, then process photos from the page. I think it is easier to keep organized this way.

1) If you are uploadiong photos for galleries, go to the gallery first and use the upload photos from there ... not from the all photos section. Uploading them to the all photos section is not connected to any gallery.

2) In the all photos section, in the sorting area, see if there is an option to select from client photos and stock photos.

I don't know why I can't remember to go to the gallery first. I even read that in the instructions. I must think I'm special and it doesn't apply to me.

Tim- I'm not sure what you mean by your second question. I did not find an option like that but then again if I would just follow directions #2 is a moot point.

But a follow up question, I now have 500 pictures listed as "xxx Photos Not Shown On Website" but no way to see find them or get to them. Any thoughts on how to clear them out?
Do I just go to Amazon S3 and delete them there even though I may have a problem figuring out which are associated to a picture on my website and which are not.?

It's odd it is showing a count for those and you can see them. Can you email me the link to your Sytsit admin with the username and password so I can take a look?
