Decimal Places In Pricing

Im not sure why, but when I try to type in my pre-tax pricing ( for eg: 34.54545454545455 ) plus 10%, my price comes out at $38.01
it seems I can add extra numbers after the decimal point, but it makes no difference to the end price ( which should read $38 )
Is there something I can adjust somewhere please?
