I'm new to volume photography. Does Sytist have the option to post images by student ID (for confidentiality reasons). I would like to make sure that the student can only view their image.

You should look at the QR Passcode Photos feature. It is designed for that. It won't use their student ID, but they will only be viewing their photos.
