More Efficient Way To Upload And Tag 10,000 + Photos?

Hi Tim. Wondering if there is a more efficient way to upload photos and have the files auto tag themselves... We do have decent images of the QRs that are timed 'ok' (taken with a second camera), but it's far from perfect and there are over 10,000 images.

For example - is there  a way Is there a way to upload a CSVs that has a link to the image in one cell and it's assigned QR passcode the second cell next to it?

I see other users talking about FTP - but it's not clear to me what that is and if that would help us in some way. If you have a tutorial video on that I would love to see it!

Thank you again!

I agree, a hardware backed (hence very reliable and in real time for instant upload) method of locally assigning data before upload would be a very worthwhile addition to sytist, rather than solely relying on post-upload online QR scanning.

If we could export the unique ID as 1d or 2d code (as well as the full URL as currently for easy customer phone scanning) from the pre-created QR galleries data upload, we could then use that data on local machines (via a laptop and scanner) to filename+counter each photograph locally before upload to skip the QR scan stage.

With 10,000+ subjects like you, over multiple camera stations, this would make a huge difference to our workflow.

We already do this currently using -passcode- within the filename (which can be locally automated), but does not come with the real benefits of the QR galleries.

Hardware data assignation is probably the only major thing missing at the moment from Sytist and the new QR gallery system, as far as I am concerned.

If you have a different way to assign passcodes to photos by using some other hardware, you can import CSV file and use the other Passcode Photos method.

You can also use the screenshot QR code method which will be more consistent compared to photographing the QR codes.
