Name2 Field On Contract

Is there a way to specify the contents of the name2 field on a contract? Where does the contract pull the data from to populate Name2?

Is there a way to add a person's name (a minor) who is not a signing party through a fill-able form on the admin end?

It doesn't pull the signature 2 from anything, it is just what you enter into it. Signature 2 would be the second name of the second person to sign.

When editing a contract, scroll down and it will show you the bracket codes to use. Use a text input for someone to enter a name within the contract.

So I tried that and when I add NAME2 Signature 2 appears automatically.

What I would like to do is add a contract where a parent signs on behalf of a minor. I would like to have a field where I can add the name of the minor into the contract from the admin side as the account is in the parents name. I need to do about 20 of these so I was trying to make it easier on the back end with the minor's name.

Does that make sense?

There just isn't an option for that. Anything put into the signature fields will asked to be signed. You will just have to type the child's name into the contract itself.

Tim - I get that - what I am saying is that adding NAME2 automatically creates Signature 2 -- which I don't want as it is for a minor who can not legally sign. Also NAME2 is filled out by the client which leaves room for error or misunderstanding. I think it would be a good idea to have a field or fields that can be pre-filled from the admin side to ensure accuracy.
