Hello,
Is there a way to to change the automated receipt/Invoice text the customer receives after they book an appt?
This is the auto text I'm referring too?
Thank you for your purchase from Lisa J Carter Photography! Currently you order is pending. Once it the order status changes, you will receive an email notification and if completed, your order will be processed.
Also, why is it showing pending when they have paid the deposit? Shouldn't it show confirmed or how do I change that?

There is a separate booking "confirmation" email sent when the booking is confirmed. You can edit that by editing the booking service.
That email is the order pending email in Settings -> Default Email. It will be pending if someone selects an offline payment option or the collect and manually process a credit card option.

I'm so sorry Tim, I'm not understanding what you are referring too. I have the separate email set up but the client still receives both my custom confirmation and the following:

In Settings -> Default Emails, there is an Order Pending email. That is the email being sent.
That email is sent if someone selects an offline payment option or the collect and manually process a credit card option
