Free Downloads And Prints!

I have clients I allow download high res files from their gallery that does not incur any charge from the online system. They pay for it at time of photography.
I want to add print options from wallets to 20x30 with a $50 minimum print purchase for the same photographs in case they want professionally printed images.
I attempted to set it up where the downloads were free but testing it was rejected because the shopping cart order was denied due to the $50 print minimum.
I rather have it set where the downloads stay where the client hits the image download button on the image and bypass the shopping cart. Yet, have print options with the minimum price for the shopping cart.
How would I go about setting that up?
