Hi, I have just started putting together the FAQ section of my site. However when using the search function it also brings up all the results for any pages on the site including password protected galleries.
Is there a way to set it so it only searches for pages within the FAQ category rather than the whole site?

There isn't a way to have it only search within one section. It is a global search.
