In the Product Base I see Prints, Downloads and Other. Is there a way we can add a new section?

There are no other sections available in the product base, but when you create your price lists, you can create product groups and add products to those groups. Example, canvas, create a canvas product as a print in the product base and in your price list, create a canvas group.

Tim this one seems to come up a lot!

Is there a reason we can't group items within the Product Base?

So perhaps it could go something like this...

Product Base
Create New Group
Group Name - Canvas Wraps
Group Type - Prints

Then perhaps
Create New Group
Group Name - Framed Portraits
Group Type - Prints

This way we'd have more control and still have the correct options available when adding a product to the base.

This would make it much easier to find products when creating a Price List.

I also would like to see some kind of Group function in the Product Base. I have lots of photo products for sports leagues and school pictures. The prices are different for each league and school. I could easily have over 500 products in my product base within 1 season. And 20 of them could be called "AA".
If I could have Product Base> Create Group> Add New Product that would be fantastic.

BTW- This would also be a great thing to have in collections. As each school and league has different Packages with the same name.

You don't have to create a new product for each price. You can override the prices in your price lists by mousing over the product in the price list and clicking the edit icon next to the price.

So you have have a 1 5x7 in the product base, then just change the price in the price list without having to create a new product.

Using the "Your Reference Name" is a help, however it would be a huge help if I could sort by "Your Reference Name" so all the products for that "Reference Name" were grouped together when creating a "Price List".

I too find this a little annoying and would LOVE more choice other than , prints, downloads and other.

All my canvas options, photo books, metal prints etc all have to go into other. This is now getting really messy and confusing as all lumped in together in the order I added them. I can't seem to change their order either to bring some sort of organisation to it all. I am planning on adding more products to my lists and worry that it will become even more hard to work with. Every time I use this page it makes my head hurt.

Would love an option to create a new product base option, or if you could add some extra ones such as canvas, photo albums, folios, metal prints etc...

Thank you!
