Coupons Not Giving Full Amount

I have issued coupons for a specific amount of money - but when the client orders, it is the exact amount I issued, but it's only giving them a percentage. If I issue a dollar amount $285 it is only issuing a $60 credit.
This particular one is no longer there because I deleted it and gave her a credit instead - but I have a bunch more and I need to know why they aren't working.

Most likely only $60 worth of products are discountable. Edit the products that are being purchase and check the option of "Do not allow discounting".

I don't know what you mean but if a product has "Do not allow discounting" selected then that product will not be discounted ... meaning it won't be in the discount calculation.

If I have high resolution images and I click don't allow discounting - BUT, I have bulk pricing set up - so from 1-4 images is $30 and 5-9 drops to $20 per picture - will checking that box not allow the bulk pricing drop? Or will that still be in effect

That is Quantity discounting and that will still work if do not allow discounting is checked.

Ok, I made those changes and someone just entered a coupon and it still won't give the full amount - now I'm stumped

You can email me the following for me to look into it:
1) Link to your Sytist admin.
2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).
3) Order number of an order that was placed that did not get the full discount.
