Pre-sell Tiered Discounts

I have "create your own package" pricelists.

I use the sale option to create the tiered discounts.

It would be much better if I could simply create gallery level tiered discounts without the start or end dates. These pricelists are used once a year for specific events and having to set it up each year seems to be a needless extra step.

A simple checkbox to "apply as permanent discount" would be very helpful.

Is there someway I can achieve untimed discounts?

Why not just use quantity discounts in the price list?

But there is no way to achieve that with the sale option.

People mix and match to create their package.

Packages that total over $31 are discounted 20%...$46+ gets a 30% discount and $75+ saves 35%

With all the different prices quantity discounts don't work.

Having to set up the sale is no big deal...it would be great if it remained with the pricelist even after the sale ends to be used again the following year.
