Can Emails Include A Photo From Their Gallery?

In the 'abandoned cart' email there is a photo linked as part of the message, that you inserted (beautifully) using CART_IMAGE
Is there any way to do something similar with the original email that goes out? What tag or code could we insert to pull a photo - say the first photo in the gallery?
If that's not currently a code we can include in our mailouts, could you look into making something like that possible for the future please?

You can add an image to the gallery invite emails by using these bracket codes to the default emails in Settings -> Default Emails.

Tim, this is GREAT! Thank you so much, I'll put it to good use.
For anyone else who might want to try this, I wanted the image a bit smaller so I entered this code in the HTML editor. I haven't figured how to center the photo as I originally wanted but I think it looks sharp:
