Facebook Undefined

I have facebook login enabled and just recently I've run into an issue when a person logs into the site, they get the following URL: https://www.thomaskayphotography.com/undefined#_=_

Thus receiving:
Not Found
The requested URL /undefined was not found on this server.

Any ideas?

I have seen that in the past, don't know if it is something I have addressed, but I am unable to duplicate that. Does it happen every time? and where are you logging in from? The main page or from a gallery?

Happens every time. I've tested from the main page and gallery. Same result.

I can see it happening on your site, but I can't duplicate it on another site.

You may need to email me FTP access (FTP username and password) so I can troubleshoot.

Same issue here too. When sharing a single photo on facebook, the popup window shows an URL with a title, photo, and it shows "description=undefined"

Hi Tim,

I just upgraded to the latest version today and started getting this error after testing Facebook login. Since this thread never was answered as to what the issue was. Just wondering if you be able to tell me where to look to fix it. It appears that in the facebook login redirect URL that is being passed when talking to the facebook api, might not be set correctly on my sytist side. Missing a setting for returnlink?

Here are the calls from the debug

Start of oAuth flow

https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?client_id=***********&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.borsellinophoto.com%2Fpictures%2Fsy-inc%2Ffacebook%2Findex.php&state=42d91402b371e873ab2c804281f2a78d&scope=email

https://www.borsellinophoto.com/pictures/sy-inc/facebook/index.php?code=****BIGLONGSTRING***&state=42d91402b371e873ab2c804281f2a78d

https://www.borsellinophoto.com/pictures/?view=returnlink

https://www.borsellinophoto.com/pictures/undefined

When I decode the redirect url to be not URL encoded I get this
https://www.borsellinophoto.com/pictures/sy-inc/facebook/index.php&state=42d91402b371e873ab2c804281f2a78d&scope=email

however I have confirmed that https://www.borsellinophoto.com/pictures/sy-inc/facebook/index.php works. Just once you put a state or scope it doesn't.

Path contains these files
drwxr-xr-x 1 www-data www-data 64 Jun 10 17:50 .
drwxr-xr-x 1 www-data www-data 3166 Jun 10 13:32 ..

Thanks,

There was a Facebook developer change a little while ago, look into that. i stopped using the facebook login due to Facebook's inability to protect users accounts from hacking and Facebook's tracking and it confused customers because of duplicate accounts. But i would look into the developer changes that occurred

I don't know what the issue was and can not duplicate it myself. The original poster never followed-up with an email on this. It certainly wasn't caused by the Sytist update. It must be specific to facebook app ID or something along those lines.

You can email me the following for me to look into it:

1) Link to your Sytist admin.

2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).

3) FTP username and password.
