Collapse Of Products In Collections

I seem to recall in previous versions that if you had a base product set to collapse its options, then that would also occur when you had that base product in a collection. You'd have to click the icon with the 3 lines to expand the options.

At least I have that in my instructions to my customers so I assume the system used to do that at some point.

Since the upgrade to 3.4.5 that no longer seems to be the case. I checked your demo site as well and the products with options are not collapsing there either.

Is this by design now or just an oversight? Thanks!

The collapse options and descriptions are for products and collections, but it doesn't apply to products within a collection.
