How do you remove the file name when hovering over photos (not the alt tag - as that has been unchecked and cleared) . It is showing the file name in bottom left-hand corner of the screen. This is a privacy issue if you have named photos - and done all the right things to remove it from alt tags etc.
It means that you have to go back and rename all the files that you have upload to the gallery slideshow - or anywhere else - and then re-upload your photos again......
OR is there any other way to ensure the hover doesn't show photos.

What you see in the bottom left corner of the browser is the link. You can't stop that from happening, it is a browser thing. It's not something Sytist is doing.
Even without that, you can still see the file names in the source code. The only way to not have a name related to a photo is to name the photo something differently.

To remove that, which will also remove the 1/59 count
In your Sytist admin Design -> Edit My Theme
Additional CSS in the left menu add this code:
.viewphototitle { display: none; }
