Pre-order On School Pictures

We are trying to set up the site for taking pre-orders on school pictures. We have gotten started and are plugging through it, but how do you have the customer first select a school and then place their pre-order. Different schools will have different pricing depending on the commission paid to the school.

You need to set up each school as a category first. You need to create your product base and price list for each school, then add your product items and price list
in to each category. The manual is really helpful! I used it heaps when I first started too. Some of my categories are password protected as they hold individual portraits (so not pre-sell) but you can see an example of a store here - inphotography.nz/store if that helps.

If you are setting up the pre-sell packages like in this article (using store items)

You would need to create categories under the pre-sell section you created. To add a category, click the +category link under that section name you created in the left menu of the Site Content section. Then add the products in those categories.

There isn't a way to duplicate a category, but you can duplicate individual pages.
