I choose Manage Home Page. Then I click on Page Designer & Templates. I load the chosen template, but when I click to Save, the Page Designer just spins and spins and never saves. Am I doing something wrong?
I’m using the most updated version of Chrome (64.0.3282.186). I've read through articles and manuals before posting, and tried to search for similar question. Hope I'm not duplicating any prior post topic.
Thanks in advance for any tips you can offer!

I've now also tried starting a home page design from scratch rather than using a template, but I get the same result. My hosting is at eleven2.com. I disabled ModSecurity hoping it would possibly resolve the issue, but to no avail.

I think you have installed Sytist in the root but haven't gone live yet, so the index file is actually indexnew.php instead of index.php and when saving the home page it is using the wrong URL (my fault because I forgot about the temp index file in the page designer).
What you can do is go to Site Content and create a new top level page ... name it something like new home page. Use the page designer on the page to design your home page and save it as a template.
When you go live, you can then edit your home page and load that template you created to the home page.

Hey Tim - This fixed the issue back in 2018, but now it's happening again. I make edits to the home page using Page Designer but the changes won't save. The site was migrated from a share server to a dedicated server a couple years and that's the only thing I can think may have caused the issue. Can you possibly give me some direction to figure out what's broken?

It is probably mod security or something similar on the server causing that.
You will need to email me the following so I can take a look into it:
1) Link to your Sytist admin.
2) The admin username and password (or create me an admin account by clicking Admins in the upper right corner of the admin pages).
