What's The Best Way To Do This?

I'm starting up a photobooth operation, and I want all the guests at each event to access to all the images from that event

There will be the 6 x 4 inch collages with 2, 3 or 4 images on them, and also the origianl high res images.

The former I want to offer as free unlimited downloads, and the latter I want to charge a small fee for, say £5 each and 4 for £15.

Given that I cannot have different pricelists for subgalleries, what's the best way I can do this?

You can have different price lists for sub-galleries. After you have created the sub-gallery, edit it and you will see the option to change the price list for that sub-gallery.
