Store Page Sub-category Page Not Listing Items

Created a store with one product. Assigned to "store" and subcategory "posters" - subcategory still shows (0) and doesn't list item on the page? Seems like item can only show in the top main category or the sub and not both.

It will actually display in both categories. If you click Posters it will show. It's just not counting it in that count in the left menu.
