I give coupons away at events I shoot. They are usually dollar amount coupons (not percentages). Some folks end up getting more than one coupon. Is there a way for them to enter more than one coupon?

And another question. If a customer has, for instance, a $25 coupon and their order only comes to $15, would they be able to use that same coupon to redeem the remainder, on an order they place at a later date?

Or is there a better way to do these instead of doing them as "coupons"?

thanks for anyones help/suggestions!

There isn't a way for them to use more than one coupon per order. And if a coupon is $25, and it only totals $15, the extra $10 just goes away.

For this situation, you would need to add an account credit. An account credit comes off the total like a payment, and any extra credit stays in their account.

Thanks Tim! Yes the crediting their account with the un-used portion is what I'm doing now. Just wondered if there was a better way to do these cash give-away things.
