Hi there!

My automatic emails are not going to Spam, but they are being marked my Outlook 365 as a "potential Spoof email".

Are there recognised standard protocols for setting up email addresses and domains that is "more acceptable" to spam filters?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Jon

If you aren't already, use an email address @yourdomain

Also look into creating a SPF record (Sender Policy Framework). You can probably do it through your hosting control panel:
https://www.google.com/search?q=cPanel%20SPF

Or check with your host about it.

Any suggestion as to what the SPF record needs to be? I have outlook added, the ip address, and my hosts mail server and it is still coming up with the spoof message. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It might be saying spoof if the email is coming from you to you.

But for SPF you should ask your hosting company.
