Free Downloads Without Watermark

I want to put a watermark on my photos, as it seems to upload faster, as well as the photos show up faster once opened on the website. I want to offer free downloads for certain clients, but when they go to download the images, the image they download to their computer still has the watermark on it. Is there any way to still include the watermark to make the files smaller on the screen, but then give the client the ability to download the original photo?

Are you watermarking the photos before you are uploading? If so, then the watermark can not be removed.

If you are not watermarking and having Sytist apply the watermark, then they can download the photos without the watermark. There are settings for that in your free download product in the Photo Products -> product base.

I also would like to allow certain clients free downloads with a small logo or watermark, only on the bottom of each image downloaded. But, I want the whole gallery to show to other people with a watermark/logo on the center. Is there a way to make this happen through Sytist?

-I am already setting up a price list that includes free downloads, and plan to assign this price list to certain clients who I want to have the access to free downloads.

- What is the difference between logo and watermark?

You will need to create a new free download product in the Product base and add it to the new price list you are creating.

There really is no difference in how the watermark and logo are added. It just gives a way to add both a watermark and a logo. So you can just use one to add your logo on the bottom.
