Image Hosting Server

1.) Can you tell me the benefit by having the Amazon S3 box checked and using thier sever for storing the thousands of image I upload to my web site monthly? 

2.) For some unknown reason Amazon has suspended my account and it's been five days since my customers can  view and purchase images from my web site and I'm losing business. I cannot sign into my account to reach out to amazon support because the phone number I used when I set up my account is no longer in use, unfortunately this number is needed for account authentifications second step (email or first step is still valid)

3.) If I stop using Amazon, even after resolving my suspension, is my storage space for these thousands of images monthly  determined by my web site hosting company?

I'm not an IT person just a horse photographer and I find it extremely dificult to understand how a company the size of Amazon S3 can have such terible customer support!

The benefit of using S3 to host your photos so it doesn't take up so much space on your hosting account. So it really depend on how much space and file storage (inodes) you have available with your hosting plan. 

You can upload photos now without moving to S3 that will be stored on your hosting so your customers can see photos until you get S3 resolved.
