Payment Amount Rounding Issue – Charging $0.01 Less Than Invoice Total

After a recent software update, I noticed a rounding issue when processing payments through my Sytist site.

A client attempted to make a payment for $319.34, but the checkout consistently charges $319.33 instead. I even adjusted the invoice total to $319.35 to see if it would round down to the correct amount, but the issue persists.

It seems the system is automatically rounding down the total by one cent during payment submission.

Could someone please advise on how to fix or prevent this rounding discrepancy?

Shopping cart purchases or invoice payment?

Which payment option?

Are you using 4 decimals?

I have solved thus problem. The penny was retired in June 2025. Processing systems now round to the nearest 0 cent or 5 cent. So it could go up or down. That's why.

see my last post. But now with the penny retired, processing center round up or down. Ir 16.62 will round down to 16.60 and 16.63 will round up to 16.65. This is something tim will have to update.
