Calendar Bookings Weird Effect

Im getting older and only want to do 1 photo shoot a day.  But I do offer time slots on custom days so the clients have option of when they want their shoot to start eg. 10am 1pm and 4pm.  So I have set available times between 10am and 5 pm with 3 hour between.  so the website displays 10am 1pm and 4pm which is perfect.  I have set the duration of each session to 8 hours with a 8 hour prep time - thinking that if someone booked any session time on a day it would automatically lock out all the other slots - and so on that day their could be no other shoots are available.  However I have a booking at 10am booked and then I get weird time slots appearing on that day for 4am 8am??  I assume there is a bug or I am setting it up wrong and causing the error.  I have since edited the booking to be an all day booking and so have essentially locked out the day

Tim

I am finding clients can book time slots that overlap each other in the calendar causing me issues.

I have one service (Service A)available that has options for 10am 1pm and 4pm time slot bookings.

I have another service (Service B) that can also be booked on that day - but it is an all day booking

If service A is booked first, a customer can still book service B causing a conflict because now there are 2 bookings overlapping.

If Service B is booked first, customers cannot then book service A which is 'good' as the day is now made unable.

How do I get service A to not allow service B to be booked on that day as they would overlap ?

I can confirm the same behavior is happening on the demo site.  I was able to book a wedding and boudoir session at the same time (day) if I booked the boudoir session first

This doesn't sound like a functionality the Sytist booking calendar provides.

Might be best to make it an all day event and create an option for the time.

is it a possibility to add a functionality option that both time slot and all day events can be used on the same calendar system to avoid double bookings
