Entagged / Barcode
As most know I made a big big mistake by moving one of my schools to GP because they offered spanish and English on the website. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER use anyone else beside Sytist.
My Question is how do I upload photos without having to put a line code in the CSV file File name to each kid Like you showed in the Passcode photos page (see photo below)
I have all the entagged info enbedded in the comments of the photo and a csv file (see photo below)
Why I ask is because I have almost 2000 images (900 subjects) that I will be uploading
I think that is on the Entagged side of things and I don't know the answer.
Sytist will look in the comment and copyright fields in addition to the title field for the password like entagged adds, but I don't know how you go about putting together the CSV file.

Tim,
I asked this in another thread just now and realized there's one here too. In what situation does Sytist read that data? Is it in a QR gallery type but no need to include a photo of the QR code when uploading? Do you need to use the old style passcode gallery? I feel stupid but I can not make it work and I've tried both methods.
Todd,
Check out https://www.photographers-toolbox.com/
The LR/Transporter plugin (for Lightroom) lets you export the metadata from a set of photos into a spreadsheet, so for example you could make a spreadsheet with the filename and the content of the "Title" field and use that to import to Sytist. (Would that help?)
You use the Passcode Photos method, not the QR passcodes. And Sytist will search the comment and copyright fields for the password as that is where Entagged adds them.

Just to clarify:
- your help article about Entagged says also the Title is scanned by Sytist, is that true? (If I have to add a manual entry or fix a mistake, Lightroom does not let you write to the comment field)
- The photos did not show a passcode after I uploaded them, is there a step to do, like do they only show after I get the spreadsheet uploaded?
As I said, I tried both methods and it didn’t work I’m feeling like I’m missing something
I am in the same boat I tried both methods and could not get it to work either.
You need to get with Entagged on how to create your spreadsheet to import into Sytist. You have to import that data in order to email the customer's their passcodes.
If the passcode is in the copywrite or comment field, the thumbnails in the admin will show passcode: none because that only shows the title fields.
Sytist will look in the comment and copyright fields in addition to the title field for the password.
