Limiting Prints/items To Specific Image Types?

Is there any way to limit certain products/prints to specific types of images (images somehow tagged or identified as being compatible with the product/print)?

I sell a TON of 3.5" pinback buttons (for sports).  Right now, I just let clients select any pose for a button and I manually crop them to the correct size when they're produced.  Ideally, I'd like to create a new pose (stylized as a mocked-up button) that clients would see in the gallery.  That specific pose would need to only be able to fill the 3.5" button product.  It would need to NOT work with other products (like prints).  Ultimately, I'm trying to automate more of the printing component rather than manually intervening to produce the buttons.  I already crop to 5x4 (with 5x7 and 2x3 automatically "working" without intervention).  

You will need to create a price list that only contains the sizes you want to offer for those photos.
