Smtp Port Issues

Using SMTP email on port 587 works fine but when switching to a different secure port (recommended by SMTP mail host) and using TLS, Sytist trys to send mail and crashes.

That sounds to be an issue with the host. Sytist is just going to try to connect to the settings you provide .
Sending a test email from Settings -> Mail Sending Settings, it should display the error along with other information.
