Pre-registration Showing As $0 Shopping Cart

I use pre-registration to collect the contact info of all parents before photo day. Updates now have them showing up as $0 shopping carts. I'm concerned when abandoned shopping cart emails go out these people are going to get emailed about their $0 in their cart.

It is in the cart because they haven't completed the registration. Once they submit it it is no longer in the cart. 

They won't get abandoned shopping cart reminders unless they are already logged into an account at the time of registering and don't complete the registration. 

I've made a note to look into if they are logged into their account at that time and don't complete the registration.
