Can't Log In, Page Keeps Refreshing... Happening On And Off
This is happening on and off for the past two weeks. I contacted my host and this is what they said"
" I noticed that there were resource usage spikes occuring, your website will experience issues if there are not enough resource for its processes. I ran a resource audit for the past 7 days and noticed:
Entry Proc Faults 137
IO Faults 104
It seems that quite a lot of Faults were detected, furthermore, I can see quite the high Traffic incoming from a specific IP address:
--- Top IPs ---
15149 108.4.214.248
Note that this is traffic only for the past 7 days, although the mentioned traffic is not surprisngly high, it's generally not normal for a single IP to generate so many requests. It doesnt appear to be a Bot/Crawler either, as when I run a reverse check over it, it appears to be personal/residential"
Checked my IP and it isn't me.
I've read this forum here to try and fix this and I do not have these two lines in my sy-config.php file
ini_set('session.gc_maxlifetime', 1800);
ini_set('session.save_path', $setup['path']."/sy-phpsessions");
That IP address is from Virginia and doesn't seem like a bot, but it could be an infected computer acting as a bot or something similar. And that is a lot of requests.
I would suggest blocking that IP address and see if it helps.
Google block IP address via .htaccess file.
Example, add to the .htaccess file via your File manager in your hosting control panel:
Order Deny,Allow
Deny from 108.4.214.248
My Email Address: info@picturespro.com
Now my client can't view her images. Sent them the link to view, it takes them back to my home page every time they try. I then when in to my Admin (which I can get into at the moment) and directly from their gallery I click "view on website" and it doesn't take me to their gallery but takes me to my home page.
I'm starting to really get frustrated as Its making me look so unprofessional with this constantly having issues.
I will also try and block that IP address and see what happens. I'm just afraid of it being a client and blocking them
Solved the client issue... well I mean I just went and created a new gallery for them and that seems to work.
Blocked the IP address above.
I remember having this issue last year alot when I was still using Photocart so its definitely something with the hosting.
