Harvesting Emails To Send Gallery Notices To...

Hey all, I am wondering if there is a way (I can't find it after looking for an hour or so) of gathering emails, linked to existing galleries, that have not ordered.  

I want to send reminders that they need to order or risk losing access to their gallery and then not being able to get an order when they need it.  

Does any one do this or know how?

Not away to be that be selective in non order customers. But you will need to set up cron job on your server and have an expiration date on the gallery. Emails will go out all automatically on the time frame you have set for cron job. Info on this is in the manual.

If you edit the section your galleries are in (edit under the section name in the left menu of the Site Content area) there is a require to view option.

You can set it to require to be logged into an account to view photos (which means you have their email address) or require them to enter an email address to view photos. 

Both of those options do make your customers make extra steps to view photos.

And with the Automated Messages, you can set it to automatically send gallery reminder emails and others. 

Also, in the settings of your price lists (Photo Products -> Price Lists) there is an option "Require customer to be logged into their account to add to cart?". This way you only collect their information if they are adding something to their cart. 

That will also collect their email address in their account where you can also send emails with the Automated Messages.
