Amazon S3

I've just started using Amazon S3 for my website photos and uploaded a load of event photos las night but they didn't go to the S3 storage, however I was able to move them to S3 in bulk  afterwards so site is recognising that I have it set up.  

I have used up the Free Tier capacity so wondered if it was that causing an issue, but assumed it automatically then clicked over to on-demand charging, or have I got that wrong?

It is working normally, you will start incurring charges once the free tier is used up. When uploading make sure to check "Move to AMAZON S3 NOW" see pic

You are welcome and It's cheap, I probably have over a half million images at about 4 to 6 MB and it's about $8.00 a month. And no website hoist conflicts.

How much space is on the free tier?

Not much, it's been years, just google it. No you would not be able to upload then delete for free for eternity.
