Blackout Certain Times?

This feels like it should be possible, but I can't for the life of me make this work.

I've got days set aside for family portrait minis. I'd like to be able to offer 10min bookings, with a 10min gap between bookings.

When I add travel/prep time, it doesn't seem to block out any time. I'd be happy enough to just block out every second time manually, but that ALSO doesn't seem to be something I'm able to do.

It would be great to offer every second time slot, and then if those fill up, be able to open the blocked out times for a second shooter's bookings.

It's not possible to have blocked times available on the same booking event. If you have a second photographer then create the same event for them with the alternet times.

That is pretty poor functionality, with no way to create a gap between sessions even.

you can create a gap between, you just can't book those times. You have something not set up correctly. Are you creating a special event or a once a day event or other. See the manual on booking calendar setup. Are you running the most current version of sytist?

The  travel/prep time does block out the additional time.

You can also manually block out times.

  • Go to the calendar
  • Click on the date
  • Click the "Add Booking or Event" button.
  • Set the time and length you want to block out
  • Check the "Block out all available slots for this time " option.
  • And save.
