Qr Code Going To Old Gallery

After printing out the QR codes for a school, I realized that when you scan the code, it takes you an older, expired gallery.

In both circumstances, I did create the current gallery by going to the old one and clicking on 'duplicate' . . .but then changing the title and some other stuff.  Could that be the issue?

The links in the QR Passcodes contain the photo passcode. It finds the passcode then directs to the gallery it is in.

Maybe there are duplicate passcodes?

That is definitely the issue!  But that leads me to one other questions -

I archived the old galleries so that it the QR code doesn't take them there.  But, now they just get a warning "Photos not found.  Unable to find that passcode in an active gallery.  These are the possible causes . . . . . ."       I would really love for the QR code to take them to the gallery where they can then pre-register.  Is that possible?

Is the newer gallery that has the same passcode not published yet?

Because when it looks for the passcode, it does search the newest galleries that are published.
