Color Issue?

I'm trying to diagnose the color issue seen below.  On my computer, the image looks fine in PS and any photo viewer.  When I upload to Sytist, the preview and large gallery view has this muted tone to it.  When I download the file, it's fine (same as the original).  RGB color space 16-bit.  It almost seems to happen randomly -- although surely it's some setting on the way Sytist is rendering it?  Other images processed the same way seem to be fine when shown through Sytist.

Which 16bit RGB colour space?

Adobe, prophoto, etc?

Almost certainly a problem caused when gdlib in sytist converts the file (quite rightly) to 8bit srgb for previews, thumbnails etc. Hence why the original upload is downloading correctly but the previews are incorrect.

Upload self converted 8bit srgb yourself to see it it solves the problem.

Your images need to have the sRGB color profile. When they don’t have that color profile it can make the images washed out or off color. The reason is when images are uploaded, they are processed (resized, watermarked) with what is called the “GD Library” on the server and there is a long standing bug in the GD Library that loses the color profile when the images are processed. And without the color profile information, it automatically assumes sRGB.
