Uploading A Replacement Photo

I am wanting to change the Logo and Watermark on some photos on my site (a large number). I underdstand I need to upload new photos as this is applied at upload but is there a way to do this without loosing the history of the photos such as purchases etc ?

Check the "Replace photos with same file name" in the upload dialog and it will replace the photos files but retain the existing data and history.
