Manual Installation

Hi, I'm running into a problem with installation. I am installing into a fresh new cpanel account, and have built the database, database user etc. Files are uploaded and I have run /install, which I fill out with my database information and indicate that this is being installed in the root of a new site with no content. 

When I click continue, I get a blank screen with nothing but the words "sytist Installation". Nothing else. 

When I first encountered this, I went to the documentation and downloaded the sytist-check-requirements.zip, unzipped it and uploaded sytist.php. Ran it and got the response that it looked like the server was set up correctly. 

I'm not sure what to do now to troubleshoot what the problem is now. Please advise.
