Deleting Files From Stytist

I am working hard to clean up some space at my host.  How long after deleting entire galleries will it take to show up on my host?  I've been deleting old galleries all day and nothing has changed for storage.

I am selecting 'delete all photos from the system' so I know they're going somewhere.  Is there a trash folder that I need to empty?

Thank you,

Amy

This may be a silly question but did you click the circled area when deleting (see pic)? If yes your host's server may need to propagate, usually happens every 24 hours. You may want to consider using Amazon S3, you will never have a storage problem. I have about 125,000 images on S3 and it only cost me between 5.00 and 7.00 a month, depending on the traffic and popularity of particular gallery(s) and time of season. Are you using Bluehost?

Thank you. Yes, I had clicked that.  I'll check my host's server again tomorrow.

I was using Bluehost but just switched to Hostinger.  It is a much better plan but I still needed to clean out some files.

Also optimize data base, and in the admin click "all photos' this should show you an accurate count of images. If it has not changed on your new host, see if support can help with a refresh on file count. Tim may also have a trick up his sleeve. They may need to clear cache.

The photos go into a delete queue and gradually delete while you do stuff in the admin. If there are any you would see the delete queue in the red area of the attached screenshot.

Most likely the data in your hosting control panel isn't real time and only updates once a day.
