Recaptcha
Hey
I'm trying to set up reCAPTCHA and it doesn't work when logging into a gallery. Does it not work on galleries. I have regressed and gone thru the process as shown on the manual. I registered for reCAPTCHA v2 ("I'm not a robot" Checkbox) on Google and insert the "Side Key" and the "Secret Key" in settings and selected for Account login and saved.
What are my doing wrong.
Best regards
Palmi
Hi, reCAPTCHA is not for galleries. The areas you can add ReCAPTCHA are listed on the reCAPTCHA page just scroll down to enable.
hi
what about a specific page, section or category. In requiert do have other auto block after 5 failed attempts or use reCAPTCHA. Is there any way to go around to use the reCAPTCHA or something similar. Block after 5 failed attempts is only manual and taker forever to follow.
Could it work if I mate some kind of a contact forms or comment formson to one page that you need to fill out an that wold to guide people to the required page to login and put the reCAPTCHA on that forem.
Yes I was wondering if L make one page with some forms on it.
Could that form work for use reCAPTCHA and could I then redirect them to the login page.
In theory yes, in your form builder, set the success page redirect to the login page.
reCAPTCHA works where it says "Where to enable". Does not apply where you enter the gallery password.
If you are having a problem with someone continuously entering gallery passswords (not sure how you would know) block their IP address by editing the .htaccess file in your HOSTING control panel.

Hey Vance
It worked perfectly. I created new section and put a form with 2 culos for child's name and name of school and the directed them to the gallery where they could enter their password.

You are welcome, just be aware you will have to have a form for each gallery, not really sure what this is doing for you as far as information goes, unless this is some sort of EU regulation. Passcode photos is really a better method and keeps all images private.
