Sorting Issue

Hi, I'm uploading from a MacBook and have the "Arrange Order of Photos & Sub Galleries After Upload By Name Ascending" ticked but it's recently stopped resorting when the upload has finished. Can you please help?

That is an inherent problem with Mac, use the the search feature in the forum, lots of posts about that problem.

yes and the fix I mentioned in my post was what worked before but doesn’t now. All the other posts I found are 2021 or befor

I can confirm it does work. But it only applies when uploading sub galleries into the main gallery.

You will get a success message in green in the upper left of the screen after it rearranges them.

all been uploaded into sub galleries but it’s not sorting them and I have the box ticked. I don't know why they are not in order. I just know it does work. I made it go through the sorting process again (adding &uploaddone=1 to the URL while in the photos tab of the main gallery) and they should be in order now.

I have the same problem, sorting does not work automatically anymore. Tim, you wrote that you added an argument behind the URL, where do I put that do let it go through the sorting again?

Go to the Photos tab of the gallery in the admin. The URL looks something like this: 

index.php?do=news&action=managePhotos&date_id=1745#page=thumbs

Remove the #page=thumbs path and add &uploaddone=1 and it will be something like this and click go: 

index.php?do=news&action=managePhotos&date_id=1745&uploaddone=1
