I received an email from Tim, see below
Question: Will Sytist 4.0 work with PHP version 8, as my provider will be upgrading in Sept 2021
Answer: I don't believe it is compatible. PHP 8 isn't that widely available yet and I don't have a server or hosting account with that yet.
Any suggestions as to what other people will be doing? I have talked to a friend that is currently using Sytist and her provided has sent an email that they will be upgrading to 8 PHP.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am in a pickle, currently using Photo Cart and have Sytist but have not created a new web site......why bother if it will not work with my current provided. How difficult is it to change providers? Not really tech savvy.

You simply ask your hosting provider to not update the PHP to version 8 on your account until you are ready. They will still have PHP 7 available.
