Well, that's a new one. Maybe you have some code wrong in the header. If you change the "how to edit your header & footer" option to plain text, does it make a difference? (that option ins in your screenshot).

Nope!
That does not help.
See printscreen.
And by the way: This problem exists at more (all?) pages with a 'Save Changes'-button.

I don't know how that is even possible. Might be something in your browser. Can you try it in another browser?

Done. In Opera and Internet Explorer there is no problem.
So for Firefox I will start with removing the history. If that does not work I'll have to think about another solution.

Removing history and cookies in Firefox did not help.

I have checked several installations in firefox and don't see that issue. Log into the demo admin and see if it does the same this:

I suspect it is some sort of add-on in your firefox or perhaps an anti-virus+firefox.

Hmm, that makes me not happy. But I will give it a try. And maybe re-install Firefox.
I will let you know if I find something.

So I did a complete uninstall of Firefox and then installed it fresh. And the problem is solved!
Among with some other issues with other websites.
The downside is that I do not know what part of Firefox was causing the problem. Sorry for that.
