Egift Card Delivery Date Not Respected With Manual Cc Payment Entry

Hi Tim and others
Having an issue on our site, not sure if it's always been there and we just haven't noticed but a disappointed customer raised this one as I ruined the surprise.
When a customer purchases an eGift card and nominates a future date for delivery, we are finding that when a manual credit card capture is processed and payment entered into Sytist, the eGift card is sent at the moment the payment is entered not the specified date.
I have run the cron job test and that works okay. Is this a bug or something we are doing wrong?
Is there anyway to actually see what date they elected for delivery in the admin console?
Thanks
Michael

It appears to be a bug. One of those things didn't consider manually running credit cards and payment for the egift cards. The egifts cards are not created until a payment is made. When someone uses any other credit card payment option, it is automatically created and if a different date is selected for the delivery, it sets the delivery date. When manually adding a payment, it is not checking the delivery date. I have made a note to look into it.

Thanks Tim
In the interim is there a way to see what date the customer has entered so I can hold off on finalising the payment until then? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Cheers

I have looked too and there is not. It is stored in the cart database but not shown on the order currently.

Thanks Tim for the info.
I have found it in the database, which we will use in the interim.
For anyone else looking for this info:
-Login to your cpanel hosting account
-Select 'phpMyAdmin' under Databases
-Click your Sytist database on the left hand side tree (should be something like 'xxxx_sytist')
-Find and click 'ms_cart'
-Click the header of the 'cart_order' column to sort by order number
-Find the eGift card by order number and scroll right to expose the column 'cart_delivery_date'. This is the delivery date selected in format YYYY-MM-DD.
Look forward to a fix in due course.
Thanks Tim
