Hey Tim,
I use WebsiteD and Stylist. It looks like one or both are using PHP 5.6. Can this be upgraded to a current version (7.2)? Looking for the additional security it provides and i can stop paying my ISP for old PHP support

Sytist is compatible with PHP 7.2 (from version 3.3 and up). Website:D is not compatible with PHP 7.

Over this past weekend my hosts moved to a new infrastructure and migrated my relatively new Sytist site. Post the "upgrade" my site stopped loading completely. My hosts were beyond useless in helping me but after a few days of having no active site I had a lightbulb moment and checked the PHP version that they had set up, it was using PHP 7.3, when I had been running PHP 7.4. Once I changed back to PHP 7.4 all seems to be working. My question is should something like a small change in PHP version cause Sytist to not load? Also when I set up the my Sytist site (I have finally made the change from Photo Cart) I initially tried to use PHP 8.1, but it wouldn't work until I opted for PHP 7.4. Can someone please give me a quick PHP 101 tutorial about what might be going on under the hood? TIA. Richard

The current version of Sytist, 4.1.x, is compatible with PHP 7.2-8.1. If one of those PHP versions don't work, then it is an issue with that PHP installation, most likely a mission function. The error logs would need to be reviewed to see what is missing.
