Is it possible to mark/tag a photo in Lightroom in such a way so they can be easily marked as a Photographer's Favorite in a gallery?

It is currently not possible to mark favorites in lightroom. Something I have in my notes to look into.

Any updates on this topic? I mark favorites with 2 stars when I do my initial culling. Sytist can read tags. It would be great if it can read stars so I can easily select 2 stars & mark as photographers favorites.

In our studio would help us a lot to be able to show to the costumer the images that we consider the best for their albums. Many times they get stuck on the process of selection, hesitating about what images to choose. For years and years.
Since we already do slideshows, posts, etc. we could use that selections for the album. The next day of their event, the costumers could have our favorites and we could say they "I already choosed the photos for the album, please take a look of it and if its allright you get the album in ten days", wich is very diferent to say "Choose 200 photos": the last is like force someone to become a writer or a musician all of the sudden.
Thanks.

Hello,
I think you can arrange two sub galleries, one with all the photos, and one with the photographer's favorite ones.
Just a suggestion
