Help With Multi-image Products And Image Selections

We currently are trying to sell multi-image products where one photo is larger with second or third images placed on the layout.

I'm trying to think of a good method where they can tell us which image goes in which opening; I thought maybe sub-products or product options but I don't see a way to force an image selection for those.

I know the idea of selling multi-image products has been brought up before, but for now do you (Tim or anyone) have ideas about how to get a client to choose which image goes in which opening? Our current method doesn't seem to be working well.

Current implementation here:

You can if you make this a collection instead of a store product. Not a way to do it with a store product.

See this under "If your customer needs to select another option"
