I have a client trying to pay an invoice and the pay now button is not working.

I just put up another update to fix this problem.
If you don't have the update notice for 1.8.2 on your Sytist admin home screen today,
you can have it check for the update again by clicking on Settings in the main menu. Then scroll down and below the left menu, click MySQL query. Copy the following line of code, paste it in the query box and click run.
UPDATE ms_history SET upgrade_check='';
Then return to your admin home page.

I am having the same issue and running the update did not seem to work:( any other help you can send my way... When my client clicks pay not and the continue to paypal I get this ....

That error looks like is happening on the PayPal server, not yours. If you continue to get the error, you should contact PayPal.
