Hi Everyone -
If you need SSL SMTP, you can use this formatting for the SMTP host to use SSL on port 465:
ssl://smtp.yourdomain.com:465
(replace smtp.yourdomain.com with your SMTP host)
My host has serious email issues, this is the only port I can send through using PHPMailer.

Thank you so much for providing this information. I had been working on this for hours trying lots of different things (including even building my own phpmailer) before finding your simple (and undocumented!) solution.
